RTLS Components
- Anchors strategically installed in the ceiling or on the wall throughout the hospital, which ping out signals to a tag.
- Tags are dynamic device, which move around the enclosed environment. Tags respond to Anchor Signals, allowing Anchors triangulate tag position.
- Sensors are static device, and report required parameters to the cloud periodically, as configured by Network Manager.
- Gateway, plays a crucial role in enabling real-time tracking and management of assets in an RTLS system. Gateway collects data from all anchors, pre-processes and sends it to Location Engine.
- Software
- Backend Software - AI cloud-based location engine, computes location of tag in real-time.
- Frontend Software - Uses computed location data and plots it on a map. In addition FE Software allows additional management functionality.
